In short
Wipe! collects nothing that identifies you: no account, no email, no ads, no trackers, no tracking across apps. To let you play together and keep your progress, the game exchanges the bare minimum with our servers: a random identifier, your nickname and your games.
What goes to our servers, and why
- A random device identifier (it says nothing about you or your device): it gives you back your seat in a room after a disconnection, and your friends keep it to invite you.
- Your nickname and hero class: other players see them in the tavern and in your party.
- Your position in the tavern and your actions in a game, when you play with others: they go through our relay to reach them, and are not stored.
- Your progress (gold, ingredients, a summary of your games, a copy of your save): to protect it from cheating and to give it back to you.
We never ask for your name, email, location or contacts. The game also plays offline, alone with the companions.
Where and for how long
The multiplayer relay runs on Cloudflare (it stores nothing). Your progress is kept on our server while you play; ask us to delete it and we will.
Other players
There is no free chat: only preset phrases. Nobody can send you a written message. An invitation can be declined with one tap.
Crash reports
If you agreed to share analytics with developers in iOS settings, Apple may send us anonymous crash reports. You can turn this off in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.
This website
This website sets no cookies and does no audience measurement. It is served by Cloudflare, which keeps technical logs as long as security requires.
What we don't do
No advertising, no selling or sharing of data, no tracking across apps.
Children
The game asks for no personal data, from children or adults; no free text is exchanged.
Contact
For a question or to delete your progress: open a ticket with your nickname, and nothing personal (tickets are public).
